Children alone in the water.

It’s our job to teach proper ways to stay afloat.

It’s theirs to swim.

Each day’s struggle requires a solution.
There are no problems, only opportunities.
I’m staying patient while moving faster, reading the terrain that’s ahead of me, and rolling along this path I’ve been set on.
With no idea of where I’ll end up
That won’t matter. In the end all that matters is where I’ve been.

Just a Touch

This Mother’s Day will be remembered by her most for the things you do.
Nice words in a card help express the care you have for mom. The downside of a card, though, is it’s a cliche.
Mom works long days on a hard floor.
After tonight’s dinner, a massage or back rub for mom should be a nice touch.

Guys,

I love browsing pictures on Flickr. The link on this page will take you to my very own Photostream.

I would like to see my view count climb a little, and comments are always welcome!
Hope you enjoy!

Good Lookin Out

People want to control everything. Even those things that do not belong to them, or of which they have no interest in besides to just use their input and show everyone they are right.
Compromise is an art form of humility. Hard headed intimidating fools make threats if their control becomes in danger of change.
Relationships especially take patience and the willingness of both people to have one.
No one should live in fear for their safety and in danger by someone they should trust.
Look out for your friends, close acquaintances, partners, and family. Do whatever you can to help, even without being asked for it.

…On a Saturday!

My neighbors must have realized I’m using their wireless internet connection. Today, I was not able to pick up the signal. So, I find myself here; Downtown St Cloud, MN, at the new public library. It’s actually a peaceful place. I can get my work done here. There are no distractions from home. The setting really produces a harder work ethic out of me. Maybe I can’t wait to get finished so I can get the hell out of here!

The sun is shining so brightly right now, and I’m inside looking out.

This WordPress blog has quickly become a new favorite hobby of mine. I like it because it provides an outlet for me to focus my energy on.

The library is a busy place on a Saturday. People everywhere are browsing books or sitting at a desk working on the computer.

Hopefully, I’ll get some things done.

Ok,

Bring on the sunshine.

Summer is here. At least, I believe it is. Minnesota is done playing it’s winter games by now. May Day means green trees, blooming flowers, and the beginning of a brief stint of beautiful weather here in the north.

Since our summer is brief, people here are taking life much less seriously. Everywhere I see friends gathering for a barbeque, a walk along the river on a gorgeous afternoon, or just tossing around a football in their backyards. I stop and think, this is what I love about my state. It’s similar to how bees vanish during the cold months. For a long time, they are nowhere to be found. Then the times change, and with it come out friends and neighbors that may not have been seen for months.

A sort of reuniting is occurring in every backyard, apartment complex, and park.

Kids are laughing again while they run around playgrounds. Parents are easing back, feeling the relief since the symptoms of cabin fever have worn away.

My community is lively again, and it feels like the first time.
